Now send longer SMS for free from 160by2.com

Hyderabad: 160by2.com, one of India's free SMS service providers, has increased its SMS character space to 145 characters from the earlier 80 characters. This service comes as one of the most interesting and useful development in internet and communication domain for people who use online platform.

Commenting on increasing the limit of SMS, Satyakalyan Yerramsetti, CEO-160by2.com said, "Our free SMS service and other offerings like mobile application have revolutionized this industry. With the tremendous success to our products, we have decided to remove the cap on the remaining 80 characters in a text message. We see this move bringing in more users to online messaging platform."

The company also claims that it is the first player in this space to offer international SMS free to countries like UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines. The first of its kind service is open to all internet users in India and enables free SMS connectivity to any mobile in these countries. 160by2 users from these countries can also send messages back to India and between those countries.

160by2.com also developed a free-to-download mobile application that brings in a new dimension to SMSing and backup storage as users of this service can use the mobile's native phone book contacts while sending a message.
