T20 Tollywood - Match Stopped Due to Rain

The much-hyped T20 Tollywood Trophy kicked off this morning amidst much fanfare. The tournament, which is being held to gather funds for a noble cause, began in time despite the Telangana agitators attempting to disrupt the programme. Chandrababu Naidu, TDP President inaugurated the tournament, the guest of honour was ANR and T. Subbirami Reddy. It is being played at the Lal Bahadur Stadium in Hyderabad.

The first match is between Balayya Lions and Venky Warriors. Venky Warriors won the toss and elected to bowl. Rajya Sabha member T. Subbirami Reddy tossed the coin. Balayya Lions is being led by Balakrishna and Venky Warriors by Venkatesh.

The next match between Chiru Cheetahs and Nag Kings will be played in the afternoon and the final in the evening.
