Uxsight has released a mobile speaker system

Bangalore: Uxsight has released a new mobile speaker system, complete with an SD card slot and support for USB drives. The device works with any audio player that has a 3.5mm audio jack, such as MP3 players or a PC, as well as any mobile phone with a 2.5mm connector, according to ipodnn.

The player features standard controls for volume and track playback. Power is provided by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which can take anywhere from three to five hours to charge. The outer layer of the device is made from plastic, with an integrated LED that serves as a power indicator. The speakers provide a frequency response of 150Hz-18,000Hz, with a power output of 3.7V and input of 5V.

The portable speaker measures 5.6 x 2.12 x 1.4 inches and comes packaged with one USB cable, 3.5mm and 2.5mm connectors, and a special connector designed for the Sony Ericsson K750.

Uxsight's mobile speaker system is currently available for $17.
