Twitter as a business tool with 24/7 tweetview
Bangalore: As more and more firms are increasing the adoption of Twitter as a business tool, companies are finding it difficult to track tweets related to their organization or products. Aimed at solving this problem for organizations, customer lifecycle management (CLM) solutions provider, 24/7 Customer, has launched 24/7tweetview. This is a Twitter-based social media research and strategy tool to help companies understand their customers better and become more competitive.
24/7tweetview is a tool that measures the combined influence of tweets on a company, by using advanced prediction, analytics and data mining technologies. It offers analysis and reports through data mining techniques and provides a comprehensive view of what is being said about the company on Twitter.
Mohit Jain, Chief Information Officer at 24/7 Customer, believes that the consumer voice is more dominant in Twitter compared to other social media. "With the rise of Twitter, many businesses are focused on how to identify, leverage and respond to customer opinions on these sites. The 24/7tweetview can enable businesses to effectively manage customer expectations voiced on Twitter," says Jain.
Though, there are other Twitter analytics tools that derive the overall score by the count of words pre-defined as positive or negative, the 24/7tweetview claims to analyze both the words and also the context of the tweets through the sentiment scores feature. The customers can also compare the tweets that they have received along with the tweets for another company and know how they are faring in the competition.
According to V Bharathwaj, Chief Marketing Officer of 24/7 Customer, globally there are over 50 million Twitter users and many use tweets to voice their opinion about companies or products. "With more users and companies using Twitter, it was an obvious choice for us when we decided to expand the product scope of 24/7 Innovation Labs to social media," Bharathwaj added.
There are two ways for companies to start using 24/7tweetview, a free version as well as a premium version, which comes with additional features. "As of now, we have around 200 companies signed up for this service and about 70 percent of them are for the premium category," says Bharathwaj. With Twitter Mania growing big among the companies, these tools can result in a win-win situation for both Twitter and the companies using it.
