LG unveils Vx10000 mobile phone in India

Bangalore: To increase their CDMA base in India, LG has launched new mobile phone Vx1000, which looks very similar to HTCs and the Nokia Communicators of the world but unlike the communicator this will have a 2.8 inch full touchscreen display. The company has launched this new mobile set in association with Reliance Communications.

"This handset is the first of its kind from LG dedicated to our CDMA customers and is of special interest to their business needs. With features like the Full Touch screen, QWERTY Keypad, HTML enabled browser, Push & Pull Mail, it is the most ideal phone in this segment. We have launched the LG Voyager with similar features in the US markets. The LG 10000 is another addition in our endeavor to constantly evolve and give our customers in India the latest in technology, while keening our products as user-friendly and attractive as possible," said Steve Koh, Head of LG India.

The specifics of the phone include; two Megapixel camera with video recorder, extendable memory up to eight GB (using a microSD card), support for push/pull e-Mail, dual speakers and voice recorder and bluetooth v2.0 A2DP. The mobile phone is priced at Rs 22,000 in RCOM stores.
