Stopping the Dengue with a Disease-Free Mosquito

Introducing a particular bacterium into the reproductive cycle of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito may stop transmission of the virus that causes dengue fever in the humans. The consortium involving North Carolina State University (NCSU) and the several Australian institutions reports this finding in the August 25 edition of Nature.
