RVCE Results 2010, RVCE Results Announced

Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering (also referred to as RVCE or R.V. College of Engineering) is an engineering college located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is one of the first private unaided colleges to be established in India, in 1963. The college is located on a verdant campus at the outskirts of Bangalore city on Mysore road. RVCE is an autonomous institution under the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

The Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering, run by the Rashtriya Shikshana Samithi Trust, is one of the leading engineering colleges in India and it has been recognised as a centre for excellence by the Union Government. Started in 1963, the college has a campus on Mysore Road, Bangalore and is imparting undergraduate and post-graduate education courses. Undergraduate courses include Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering, Industrial engineering and management, Chemical engineering, Computer science, Telecommunication engineering and Architecture. It has also introduced a Master's course in Computer Application. The college has a good placement cell, with several companies notable international and Indian companies have visited for campus recruitment. Few of the companies include Microsoft, Delphi, Oracle, Yahoo, IBM, Caterpillar, Accenture, ABB, Wipro, Infosys and Sasken.

RVCE has been ranked amongst the top 10 engineering schools in India by "India Today" in 2001. In 2008, the college stood 8th in the "Top 35 Private Engineering Colleges" of Outlook India. In 2008, LiveMint, a Wall Street journal ranked RVCE as the 6th best Indian Private Engineering college in its list of the top 30 private Engineering colleges. In 2009, the college stood 24th in the list of top engineering colleges in India by India Today.
