Invitation for Waves 2010 - BITS PILANI

On behalf of Birla Institute of Technology and Science – Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, I would like to inform you about our national cultural festival, Waves 2010, to be held on the 14th, 15th and 16th of October 2010. We, the students of BITS – Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, would like to invite participation from your college in our festival.

Last year, Waves saw participants from across the nation in its 36 events, spanning the fields of art, literature, dance, music and dramatics, with the events being judged by celebrities and famed critics from across the country.

The participants were also given a chance to learn and enhance their skills, with a number of professionally conducted creative workshops ranging from dance, hypnotism, tye-and-dye and ambigrams to cookery, pottery and mocktail-making.

Each of the three nights of Waves concluded with special performances by acclaimed performers from the country. The DJ Nite saw DJ Suketu at the console, while the Rock Nite and Pro Nite had performances by Parikrama and KK respectively.

This year, we hope to organize Waves on an even larger scale, with ongoing talks of international performances, more professional workshops, and acclaimed creative studios in line to judge the growing number of events in the pipeline.
