Indians Interaction with Nobel laureates

New Delhi: A group of young researchers from India will interact with 60 Nobel laureates during an annual meeting in Germany from June 27 to July 2.

About 20 students nominated by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) will meet the Nobel prize winners at the 60th Annual Meeting of Nobel Laureates and Students to be held in Lindau, Germany, an official statement said Wednesday.

The interdisciplinary meeting in the fields of Physiology or Medicine, Physics and Chemistry will give the group a unique opportunity to interact with the Nobel Laureates at scientific sessions and discussions.

The students will also visit some universities and research institutions in Germany to gain first hand information and to get a exposure to the state-of-the-art facilities at the German research laboratories.
