IIT JEE 2010 RESULTS - Get Your Result!

June 2nd, 2010 - Indian Institute of Technology or IIT conducted its Joint Entrance Exam called IITJEE on 11th April 2010. The IITJEE results will be declared on 26th May 2010, Wednesday. The IITJEE 2010 results will be published only on the official website of IIT-JEE. This year’s result is being declared among controversies as Delhi High Court has demanded an explanation from IIT institutions on so many mistakes in IITJEE 2010. At a point, the bench of High Court was going to put stay order on declaration of JEE 2010 results, which is fortunately shunned.

About IIT

IIT or Indian Institute of Technology is India’s finest group of Engineering and Technology Institutes, operating since 1951. There are several IITs in various Indian cities like Kharagpur, Mumbai, Chennai, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati, Roorkee, Ropar, Bhubaneswar, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Patna, Jodhpur, Indore and Mandi. IIT has produced some notable alumni since the inception of first IIT back in 1951 at Kharagpur.

About IITJEE


The JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is conducted for admission into around 15 IITs and colleges like BHU Varanasi and ISMU Dhanbad. Based on their IITJEE result, students can pursue various Bachelors and Masters Programmes in any of these colleges. Now the IITJEE exam is conducted both online and offline each year. The highest number of candidates who attempted the IITJEE 2010 exam are from the IIT Bombay zone (80,211), followed by IIT Delhi (73,862), IIT Kanpur (73,194) and IIT Madras (68,500) among others. The IITJEE 2010 exam was scheduled on 11th April, 2010.
