Hans Raj College was founded in by the D.A.V. College managing committee on July 26, 1948, in the memory of 'Lala Hansraj', a pioneer in the field of education. It offers hostel facilities to the male students. It is located at Mahatma Hans Raj College Road, at the heart of Delhi University’s North campus.
