U.S. Serbia Sign Science and Technology Agree.

United States and Serbia Sign Science and Technology Agreement

The Governments of the United States and Republic of Serbia signed a Science and Technology Agreement in Washington, D.C. today in the U.S. Department of State's Treaty Room. Under Secretary for Democracy and Global Affairs Maria Otero signed on behalf of the United States, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technological Development Mr. Bozidar Djelic signed on behalf of Serbia.

This new bilateral science and technology agreement provides a framework under which agencies, ministries, institutes, universities, and research centers can collaborate and make new discoveries across the full range of scientific inquiry. Under this agreement, U.S. and Serbian scientists will coordinate joint research projects, including scientific workshops, conferences, and symposia, as well as the exchange of scientific and technological information.

Today's Science and Technology Agreement is one more sign of the commitment the United States and Serbia have made to enhance their bilateral relationship.
