Text Messages on Wrist Watch

London: Japanese watchmaker Citizen has designed a wristwatch - the i:VIRT M wristwatch that uses Bluetooth to synchronise with mobile phones and receive the text messages. When a user receives a test message on his/her mobile phones, the watch glows and vibrates, reports ANI.

Besides reading the subject line of the message, users can also read up to 70 characters of the text on the watch. The magnification of letters about 1.2 times their original size enables easy reading of messages on the watch. However, at present, the i:VIRT M is priced at 30,000 Yen (209 pounds).

"These watches are good for checking important messages in a casual way, even in conferences or on crowded trains, where users may feel uneasy taking out their mobile phones," a Citizen spokesman told Telegraph.
