NSW: Personal appointments for CSA customers in the Nelson Bay area

Child Support Agency (CSA) customers will be able to make personal appointments to talk to CSA staff in Nelson Bay on Thursday 6 May.

CSA staff from the Newcastle office will conduct these appointments at the Centrelink office in Nelson Bay.

The personal appointments give separated parents the opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns about child support face to face with a CSA Customer Service Officer.

It is important for parents to get access to the support services they need and to understand all their options when it comes to child support.

Appointments are preferred so CSA Customer Service Officers can research each individual case before the visit and provide more specific and personalised assistance.

If parents are unable make an appointment, they can find detailed information about the Child Support Scheme, their rights and responsibilities and support services available for separated families on the CSA website at www.csa.gov.au

People interested in making an appointment are encouraged to ring 131 272, ask about the Nelson Bay outreach service and request a suitable appointment time.

CSA’s free booklets can also be ordered via CSA’s website or by phoning
1800 040 972.
