Chennai super kings won the IPL 3 trophy and the Mumbai Indians put up a fare game but settled for the second place unable to face the excellent fielding and wicket keeping of the CSK. What a match, i hear crackers all over chennai as the team won by 22 runs. Srinivasan the owner of the team was the happiest man tonight seeing his team winning his laurels. Though the Mumbai fans were little disappointed the IPL fever was at its peak as emotions and celebration mood filled the air.

The Final Ipl 3 match started off with CSK winning the toss and choosing to bat. A wise decision indeed as CSK are very good in chasing the opponent strong and hard. The opening batsmen Hayden and Vijay were very responsibly and were slow and steady in their phase. At the end of 10 overs the score was 59 with 2 wickets down and last few overs the Raina – Dhoni teamed up to score 110 runs. The Raina and Dhoni partnership, missed catches and great timing made it possible for the CSK’s to score 59 runs from just 4 overs. With a target of 169 to chase Sachin tendulkar and entered the field.
