Leader is an Telugu language film written and directed by Sekhar Kammula marking the acting debut of Rana Daggubati (grandson of popular producer D. Ramanaidu) in the lead role, whilst Priya Anand and Richa Gangopadhyay play pivotal roles. This film, produced by the prestigious AVM Productions, is releasing worldwide on 19 February 2010. Due to the political situations from past one month in our state, the director, Sekhar Kammula has re-picturised a song in the film, ‘Maa telugu talli ki’ by changing the lyrics of that particular song. Sekhar Kammula has done this to avoid future controversies on this film. The re-picturised song will be distributed in the Nizam area so that it covers whole telangana theaters, while the original version of the song will be distributed to A.P region.
