Microwave oven using operating system

Las Vegas: The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) is known for showcasing many useful products and some product which become a prototype of future technology. Google's Android operating system has been already used in smartphones and even futuristic tablet PCs. But now a company called Touch Revolution has showcased a microwave oven as well as washer dryer, which utilizes the android operating system, according to ZDNet.

The company, using the technology to prove a point of what is possible, doesn't make any apps for the devices, but a spokesman told Pocket-lint that it would be easy to imagine what is possible. What about a cooking app that gives you perfect cooking settings for different dishes? Or one that has feedback to help improve the way the microwave cooks stuff?

Maybe with full OS capacity a user might be able to check mail as well while cooking.
