Priyanka Chopra to judge Miss World Competition

Johannesburg: After a gap of nine years, former Miss World Priyanka Chopra is ready to take part in the Miss World contest again, but as a judge. The Bollywood actress will be seen judging the finalists during the last round of '2009 Miss World contest', which is being held on December 12 in Johannesburg.

On this, an elated Chopra said, "When Julia Morley, who is in charge of the beauty pageant, invited me to be a judge, I was ecstatic. There I was a teenager all those years ago, nervous as a help on the same platform. Now I'm going in a totally different capacity."

Priyanka said that the invitation is very special to her. She added that she is happy to become a part of the much popular contest regardless of her hectic shooting schedules around. She also said that the existing year is very special as well as lucky to her. "This was a good year and hopefully 2010 will be as good if not better."

The actress will start 2010 with 'Pyaar Impossible' which is due to release in January. Miss World 2009 is the 59th pageantry. This year twenty finalists will be chosen rather than fifteen for the semi finalists.
