Movie Review
Ghatikudu, is an full length entertainer with an extra dose of comedy, Suriya’s character is shaded negatively for the first time, which is one of the highlights of the film. In some portions of Ghatikudu, Suriya appears as a 10 year old.
Vetaran actress Saroja Devi played Nayantara’s grandmother role in the film. Suriya, a contract killer, enters Saroja Devi’s family to take revenge on the household but ends up in becoming the owner. Vadivelu plays Saroja Devi’s cook.
Suriya and Nayantara first appeared together in Ghajini, although not as a pair. But this time around they will be seen as a romantic pair in this K.S. Ravikumar film. Post the success of Veedokkade, Suriya once again dons a completely commercial role with interesting facets.
Ghatikudu has all ingredients of a commercial film like action, love, comedy and sentiments. The film has musical score by Harris Jayaraj.

Lyrics are good. karthik voice is good, Harini voice is fresh in this song, thanx for the voice modulation. Music wise typical Harris Jayaraj mark song. When u listen this song, you will know its by harris. He should come out and experiment. Interludes or the music song never looses Harris' signature.

Regular number.Beat in this song reminds the best in Manasa(Munna). Nothing so great about this song. Just an ok song.

Another routine number.Nothing so great about this son except the voice of Benny Dayal.

Best song in the album.Lyrics are good. But that is music and singer selection which makes this song so special. Chinmayee voice is too good. Rahul Nambiar is on melody track after so many peppy numbers with Mani Sarma. But the lyrics are not so catchy, so u may not hum it, but u will love listening to it.

Sandhya's voice is good.Suvi Suresh is just ok. Music wise nothing so fresh. Routine infact boring song.
